Obituary for Gordon G. Asack

Gordon G. Asack, 68, of Yarmouthport and Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Taunton.

Born May 28, 1950 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Thomas G. Asack, Sr. and Teresa R. (Yakavonis) Asack. Lifelong Brockton resident he graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1968, Boston College in 1972 and Boston College Graduate School in 1974.

Gordon was the owner and operator of TGA Fitness in Brockton and Nautilus New England in Newton along with his brother Tom.

Gordon was a great friend to all and was loved by everyone. He especially enjoyed time with his family and was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Cape in Brewster and Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton.

He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Campanelli and her husband Ralph; his brother, Thomas G. Asack, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth; his nieces and nephews, Lindsey (Asack) Branchut and her husband Nicholas, Jamie (Asack) Fougere and her husband Norman, Tucker Asack and his wife Stephanie, Ralph Campanelli, Jr. and Sophia Campanelli.


Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, July 31st at 11:00AM. Interment will be private. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Monday from 3:00-8:00PM. Interment will be private.
