Clyde H. Coward Jr.

Clyde H. Coward, Jr., 66, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health.
Born on June 18, 1951 he was a son of the late Clyde H. Coward Sr. and Ruth M. (Hargrove) Coward. Clyde attended Brockton Public Schools. He had a passion for boxing where he became a Golden Glove Champion. He was employed for many years at St. Vincent De Paul in Stoughton Ma. He also served on the board of directors for the Brockton Neighborhood Health and was a member of Clube Luis De Cameos and the Portuguese National Club.
He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers and sisters. Sandra (Coward) Dunham and her husband Thomas, Richard (Joe) Coward, Helen (Coward) Howard, James Coward and his wife Deborah, Blanche (Coward) Andrade, William Coward (Moe) and his wife Jeanne, Nancy (Coward) Lee and her husband Roger, Allen Coward, Glenn Coward, David Coward and his wife Grace, Pamela (Coward) Pierre, Karen (Coward) Voisine, Lisa (Coward) Shannon and her husband Anthony, Donald Coward, Colette (Coward) Sullivan and her wife Shauna. His aunts Brenda Patilla and Martha Bradsher. He also was the brother of the late Ruthanne (Coward) Williams and Leonard Michael Coward. He also leaves a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 3:00 to 6:00PM. Interment will be on Thursday, September 28th at 11:00AM in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
