Samuel J. “Sam” LeClair, 65, of Bridgewater, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Regency South Hospital in East Point, Georgia.

Born March 29, 1951 in Everett, MA he was the son of Robert LeClair of Bridgewater and the late Antonette (Ianno) LeClair.

Samuel was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, a member of the National Guard and loved to sing. He was a talented baseball player and was drafted by the Oakland Athletics.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Marie Coughlin of Middleboro and Dianna Siciliano and her husband Joseph of West Bridgewater; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom he was very proud of.  He was the brother of the late Adeline Rawlins and Michael A. LeClair.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) WEST BRIDGEWATER on Friday August 5th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater at 10:00AM. Interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, West Bridgewater on Thursday from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.
