Marie C. Alexis, 70, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Fritz Alexis

Mrs. Marie Ceres Alexis was born in Haiti on April 27th, 1949. Her mother Antonia Borno and Father Dieujuste Pierre.

Our mom was a blessing to her family and love ones. She was a firm believer in Christ and devoted her life to bring others closer to God. She was a hero to her children and all who took part of her precious life. Her battle through sickness since the early 2000’s really highlighted and demonstrated her character of courage and determination. Her passion and love for her children is what made her a superwoman. She did everything in her power to protect her family even if it meant relocating. She was a role model, a motivator, a warrior, a friend, an astounding mother and most importantly a faithful servant of God. Her beauty was apparent and glowed each day that she lived. For those who knew Ceres were favorable nonetheless fortunate to be a part of her life. Her presence will be greatly missed on this earth, but heaven is rejoicing; welcoming another good and faithful servant.

Her Sister Edith, 6 children, Harold Jean-Baptiste, Julie Fanfan, Naomie Alexis, Danielle Toussaint, Sophia Alexis and Samy Alexis;  9 grandchildren, Dlorah Jean Baptiste, Lyric Alexis, J.C Kenny Bazile, Anthony Kenny Charmant, Jomie Merine, Marah Lafontant, Elizabeth Toussaint, Journie Hector and Lindsey Fanfan; several nieces and nephews, Judith, Carline, Harald, Ruth, Jean Vernet and Jeanjean.

 

 

 

 

 

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 9:00AM in the Pentecostal Church of God of the Elects, 291 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Friday, July 7 in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301 from 5:00 to 9:00PM.
